I've loved animals all of my life. I owned many dogs and cats throughout my childhood and growing up years. I've also owned several dogs, cats, parakeets, rabbits and one African Clawed Frog as an adult. I owned a half Arabian gelding for a short time many years ago, and a dual registered palomino quarter horse mare for more than one year a few years ago. I currently own a Palomino mare that I dearly love!

I also showed dogs for a few years and considered becoming a professional dog show handler. I finished, or pointed four Pugs and whelped several Pug litters. I also raised two litters of Irish Setters and showed Irish Setters briefly, but never finished any of them. During these years, I was also a member of the Greater Lafayette Kennel Club and assisted with the AKC show the kennel club had each year.

I currently own several pets and they include my two gorgeous exotic shorthair and exotic longhair kitties, Gucci and Chiffon, my precious Shih Tzu, Armani, my loveable, affectionate English Bulldog, Redford, and my lovely Palomino mare, Jewel. They provide me with incredible joy, laughs and love!

I decided to take my love for animals a step further, and started the Pet Nannie Pet Care service in 1999, which allows me to keep in contact with, and provide loving care to a wide variety of animals. I really enjoy providing this service, and I hope to continue being the Pet Nannie for several years to come.
